Percentage of blue on the blade: 98%

Unique identifying marks: Unlike the second seed pattern on the list, no single side of pattern 456 is completely covered in blue. On the front side, there’s a tiny hint of purple and gold near the handle. The back side has a larger swath of gold near the center of the blade.

Price: You can expect to pay around $30,000 to $50,000 for a decent float. A bit cheaper than the most expensive gloves in cs2.

Overall thoughts: If you aren’t paying attention, you may miss the small hint of gold and purple on the front side. To be honest, we aren’t exactly sure why the community prefers seed 577 over this seed.

Depending on what side you see first, you may think that pattern 557 is the perfect nomad blue gem pattern. Here’s why:

Percentage of blue on the blade: 95%

Unique identifying marks: The front side of the knife is completely covered in shades of light and dark blue. The only hint of another color is on the back side. And that’s a small blotch of gold near the base of the blade.

Price: It’s rumored that someone offered $125,000 for a factory new seed 577. However, a more likely price is around $25,000 to $35,000, depending on the float.

Overall thoughts: The front side of pattern 577 literally looks like someone attached a knife handle to an icicle. Even the little notch at the end of the handle that is used to attach a rope to is blue. It’s all in the details!

Pattern 169 is up next. Here’s what you can expect:

Percentage of blue on the blade: about 88%

Unique identifying marks: The front side of the case hardened nomad Knife blade appears to be 100% blue until you look closely. Some of the blue is so light, it may just be the original grey of the blade. The back side is a different story, it’s only about 65% blue. 

Price: The nomad Knife case hardened price you can expect to pay is around $20,000 to $40,000 for a decent float.

Overall thoughts: Like the others on this list, the front side is just about as perfect as you can get. And since that’s the play side, does the back really matter that much? Sellers and buyers seem to think it does.

Pattern 652 only really differs from the previous 3 seeds when you look at the back side. 

Percentage of blue on the blade: around 80%

Unique identifying marks: Again, the play side on this case hardened nomad Knife is nearly perfect. Unless you look closely, it appears to be 100% blue. The back side is a completely different story. Only about 40% of the blade is blue.

Price: You can expect to pay around $20,000 to $30,000 for a decent float..

Overall thoughts: We for sure wouldn’t drop that kind of cash for the back side seed 681 has. But, to each their own.

Pattern difference

The amount of blue that covers the blade is what makes a case hardened nomad Knife more expensive or less expensive. And the 4 we mentioned are definitely the best of the best. It’s not only about having more blue in the blade, it’s also about having a pattern that fewer people have. Remember, there are only a few seed patterns that sit at tier 1. And, that is what you pay for.
