But several settings can give you, albeit scanty, but still an advantage. A properly tuned radar is one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The more information you can get from it, the faster you will make a decision. This will allow you to get ahead of the actions of the opponents and instantly find the right options for countermeasures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, the basic information that CS2 radar gives you is the location of your teammates and the approximate position of your opponents. It works simply: you or your teammate sees an enemy, and the system instantly shows question marks on the radar. Moreover, when an opponent or teammate is shot, the radar marks their location with an X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another advantage that the radar gives you is the location of a bomb carrier. If you play on the T side, you will definitely see this player all the time until he plants a bomb. On the CT side, it works slightly differently. First of all, like with the approximate position of enemies on the radar, you will see the bomb sign among them. If the bomb is dropped (e.g., the last bomb carrier is dead), you will see a bomb sign on the radar for a short time. The first and easiest is to go to the in-game settings. That will reduce the chance that you will make a mistake somewhere when entering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CL_RADAR_SCALE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This console command increases or decreases the zoom of your radar. Valid values are from 0.3 to 1.3. When you stand on the edge of the map, and you have set a value of 0, then you have more space for review.
