Among them, Golden and Palacio have been added to the Competitive mode, and two new maps, Rooftop and Transit, have been added to Wingman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/hellcase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Transit-Map-Video.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Source<strong>:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/clan.akamai.steamstatic.com\/images\/\/3381077\/c5ab133e75f3b6b2c822652b91d16dfffad9bdd1.mp4?origin=\">https:\/\/clan.akamai.steamstatic.com\/images\/\/3381077\/c5ab133e75f3b6b2c822652b91d16dfffad9bdd1.mp4?origin=<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But the question remains: what did these maps replace? Valve decided it was time for Jura, Grail, Dogtown, and Brewery to take a break and removed them from the game. It is currently unknown for how long they will be gone or if they will ever return in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"New_Armory_Content\"><\/span>New Armory Content<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the new maps, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.counter-strike.net\/news\/updates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Valve has also added<\/a> new charms (including community designs) and stickers. If you&#8217;ve been wanting to add a cool charm to your weapon but weren&#8217;t a fan of the previous options, get ready for a bunch of new ones. And be careful \u2013 some of them might just explode! We&#8217;re kidding, but the new charms look exactly like decorated HE grenades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the updated Armory, you will now find two charm collections. The first one, featuring the grenades, is called the &#8220;Dr. Boom Charms collection&#8221; and contains 22 new charms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/hellcase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/dr-boom-charms.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/clan.akamai.steamstatic.com\/images\/\/3381077\/0316226665da792bf99752da24c6869c5bb26496.mp4?origin=\">https:\/\/clan.akamai.steamstatic.com\/images\/\/3381077\/0316226665da792bf99752da24c6869c5bb26496.mp4?origin=<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s also another collection with more familiar charms &#8211; the ones we&#8217;re used to, but with an updated design. However, for those who are interested, here is the full list of changes from the new CS2 update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"_ARMORY\"><\/span>[ ARMORY ]<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve already covered most of what&#8217;s in this section, but we might have missed some minor details, so here is the complete list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Added Missing Link Community Charms collection featuring 23 new charms created by Counter-Strike Workshop community artists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added Dr. Boom Charms collection featuring 22 new charms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added 2025 Community Stickers collection featuring 29 new stickers created by Counter-Strike Workshop community artists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added Sugarface 2 Stickers collection featuring 9 new stickers with the Sugarface theme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removed Gallery Case, Graphic Collection, and Character Craft stickers from The Armory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"_GAMEPLAY\"><\/span>[ GAMEPLAY ]<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s unclear how much these changes will affect future gameplay, but Valve is making improvements to the game, and that&#8217;s worth noting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Death count in scoreboard will now increment when players die to C4 bomb detonation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Limited Zeus-x27 kill streak bonus in deathmatch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed incorrect pixel offset for greater than one pixel width sniper scope.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added inaccuracy representation in sniper scopes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keychains will now slightly jolt when a player makes an audible footstep sound.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"_SPECTATING\"><\/span>[ SPECTATING ]<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You are likely already familiar with the new feature to inspect a teammate&#8217;s loadout. However, there were some minor issues that have now been fixed, and new capabilities have been added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Added support on select maps for new spectator camera transitions that follow the shortest path through the level to the next spectator target player.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-game loadout of spectated player will auto-close at the end of the match.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-game loadout of spectated player will now show wear and pattern of gloves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"_MAPS\"><\/span>[ MAPS ]<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, you probably already know the main information about the maps, but here are the detailed notes from Valve about the new CS2 update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Removed community maps Jura, Grail, Dogtown, and Brewery from all game modes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added community maps Palacio and Golden to Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch modes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added community maps Rooftop and Transit to Wingman mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ancient \/ Shoots\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Various player clipping fixes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"_MISC\"><\/span>[ MISC ]<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some very minor changes were also added in this section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minor adjustments to MAC-10 and R8 Revolver skinning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed a crash for missing bullet impact effects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added deformers (lattice deformer and simple bend deformer) to Workshop Tools &#8211; Hammer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Re-enabled example content in train_zoo using lattice and bend deformers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"_MAP_SCRIPTING\"><\/span>[ MAP SCRIPTING ]<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>And finally, the largest and probably least interesting list for most players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Updated general error handling for methods. An exception will be thrown when the method is invoked with an incorrect &#8216;this&#8217; value. An error will be logged and a default value that matches the declared return type will be returned when the method is invoked with unsupported arguments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved performance of handling Vector, QAngle, and Color values as arguments and return values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When interpreting a Color argument, rgba values will be clamped to a maximum of 255.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added an overload for each of the following methods that accepts a single object holding all parameters.
