Best MP5-SD Skins in Counter-Strike 2

With only 16 CS2 MP5-SD skins available, you’ll notice similarities across most top 10 lists. We think we’ve nailed it and compiled the best MP5-SD skins in CS2 you’ll find anywhere. We’ll start with #10 and count down until reaching the top MP5-SD skin currently in existence.

Kicking off our list at number 10

Co-Processor

The Co-Processor skin has sort of a technological slash circuit board design. The mix of light blue, blue, and dark blue work well together. We mean, It’s really nice looking, however, the design only covers about 40% of the entire gun.

The reason Co-Processor is first on our list is because the design covers a fraction of the gun. As cool as the design is, there is little to look at. It’s also very inexpensive. So, that helps make up for the design covering such a small surface area. And the more you use it, the more you’ll notice that as the float increases, it begins to wreck this skin.

Overall thoughts: If it were any more expensive, the Co-Processor wouldn’t have made our list of best mp5sd skins in CS2. As the float rises, it all but wipes away the little amount of design that’s present at “Factory New.”

Coming in at number 9

Acid Wash

Acid Wash is said to have a more industrial design. Although we love the design, the blue and silver splash pattern doesn’t feel very industrial. However, we still consider it one of the best MP5-SD skins.

We’ve placed Acid Wash at number 9 because we like the concept of the “acid” eating away the paint as the float increases. Even if we feel it could have been implemented better—more on that in our final thoughts. Plus, the price has dipped over the last couple of weeks, making it a good time to pick one up and see if you like it. And, having mentioned our second point, keep in mind that Acid Wash’s value does slowly rise over its lifetime. But because of its price, there’s no reason not to play with it.

Overall thoughts: We wish the acid-stained look wasn’t there at “Factory New.” It would have been much nicer if that splash design had started to appear as the float rose, creating a “being eaten away by acid” effect. If that had happened, Acid Wash may have been a few spots higher on our list or, in the case of counting down, a bit lower. 

Number 8 on our list

Bamboo Garden

The Bamboo Garden skin has a very outdoorsy, natural theme.  And who doesn’t love bamboo? One cool aspect of the Bamboo Garden is that the design becomes more camouflaged as the float increases. 

Bamboo Garden is number 8 on our list for several reasons. First, the design is beautiful. The themed design is visible without really inspecting it. We love that the theme covers the entire MP5-SD, not just portions of it. The Bamboo Garden is also a very popular design. Sell? Buy? Easy!

Overall thoughts: Like bamboo in the wild, one of the fastest growing plants, Bamboo Garden’s price has risen just as quickly. All time, it has only shot up. And we love the fully covered MP5-SD—big plus.

Number 7 on our list. Be careful. They are watching you read this.

Agent

The Agent is the quintessential design when we think of mp5sd skins in CS2. It feels very tactical and sports a law enforcement theme, which is highlighted by the big “FBI” written across it.

We put Agent at number 7 because the price stays relatively stable over time. It’s cheaper than some of the other skins on our list. So, it’s a buy-and-play with skin as, over time, you won’t gain much by keeping it clean. We may have placed this closer to number 5 if the float increase didn’t make the design all but disappear.

Overall thoughts: We really like the design. However, much like the Co-Processor, the skin design doesn’t cover enough of the MP5-SD. And that’s on a “Factory New” version. We won’t even comment on the “Battle-Scarred” design.

Coming in at number 6

Condition Zero

Condition Zero has a rough and rugged appearance. Even with 0 float, there is some slightly visible wear and scratches. The vivid yellow, blue, and green colors go very well together.

Condition Zero is number 6 on our list of best mp5sd skins cs2 because as the float rises, the colors seem to pop even more. The higher the float, the cheaper Condition Zero becomes. And despite a short dip in the current prices, Condition Zero has steadily gained value over time. This is also one of the most popular MP5-SD skins. So, if you want to resell it, you won’t have any problems.

Overall thoughts: The higher the float, the cheaper Condition Zero becomes. This means you pay less for something that looks better the cheaper it becomes. And that’s amazing. 

Halfway to the best on our list. At number 5

Gauss

Gauss is a skin with a futuristic design. The colors give it a very metallic feeling, which is highlighted by the way the skin rusts as the float increases.

Seeing a skin ranked so high yet has such a low price tag is impressive. The Gauss skin has a nice float effect—really nice. We think any condition is worth it visually, and a low price makes every condition obtainable. This skin is also very popular; it is easy to buy and sell.

Overall thoughts: The design doesn’t disappear. It just changes. And we’d be able to argue that the changes look just as cool at any given float amount. Based on the changes that an increased float creates, this is likely our favorite skin. However, it’s a close race with Condition Zero.

Pop. Pop. Popping up at number 4

Autumn Twilly

Autumn Twilly gives off a very autumn-ey vibe. Its colors and leavy design scream fall foliage. This is likely one of the most beautiful mp5 sd skins on our list.

We only put Autumn Twilly at number 4 because the price point is higher, but visually, you get what you pay for by picking up a “Factory New” version. Even though we think it’s one of the most beautiful guns, we couldn’t put it any closer to number one due to the float destroying Autumn Twilly’s beauty. Plus, the price of this skin has significantly increased over time.

Overall thoughts: This is a buy “Factory New” and hold on to it. Or, buy two—one to play with and the other as an investment. We just won’t be responsible for buying and destroying such a work of art.

Oxide Oasis

The vibrant colors of the Oxide Oasis skin make it a very strange choice for a camouflage theme. The skin can be very expensive, unless you buy a souvenir version. We think the Oxide Oasis looks pretty good until it gets close to being Well-Worn. 

Oxide Oasis resides at number 3. Though it’s very expensive, the skin has the possibility of being worth way more, as it once was. The colors and design are amazing and the price points make this skin a bragging right.

Overall thoughts: This may be a buy-and-hold, which isn’t a bad idea. However, the possibility of losing a significant amount of money is present if the price drops. If this skin gets near the all-time high again, a sale would make it possible to buy every single skin on this list—and multiple times. It’s high risk, high reward.

Second best

Kitbash

The Kitbash skin’s design feels personal and alive. Its do-it-yourself appearance gives me the feeling that a player styled it with what he could find in their garage. And take a close look at all the tape. That texture is something else. While you’re taking a close look, be sure to read the playful text written on some of the pieces of tape.

Kitbash comes in second place on our list because the texture is amazing. This skin feels more real than any skin on the list. The float doesn’t affect the tape or the texture the tape creates. The playful text also remains visible as the float increases. Despite its popularity, Kitbash has been on sale for the past 7 days. Pick one up soon before the price trends reverse.

Phosphor

It’s no mystery why the Phosphor skin is at the top of most lists of mp5sd skins cs2. The beautiful, vibrant colors poured across the top of the skin give the Phosphor a very urban graffiti feel. 

Phosphor is at the top of our list because we love how this skin looks at every float level. The colors pop. Its design is very messy, yet it is extremely clean. Plus, the price is reasonable for a popular skin that looks amazing at any skin quality.

Overall thoughts: At “Factory New,” this skin looks like it’s been painted on the wall of a building by a top-tier graffiti artist. At “Well-Worn,” Phosphor looks like it was pulled straight from the sewer. And we mean that in a good way. This is by far our favorite mp5sd skin in CS2.
